Year by Week

Read Through the Bible in One Year

Each week’s reading has roughly the same number of verses.

One suggestion for using this plan is to try to accomplish the week’s goal, and not necessarily follow a precise day-by-day schedule.

Use a bookmark to keep your place, and if you miss a day, on the next day just pickup where you left off, and press on toward your goal.

In a year, you’ll have read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation!

The purpose of reading the Word of God  from cover to cover is to open your eyes to who God really is, change your life by bringing you closer to God  and bringing glory to God.

Crossroads has a questions page that you can ask Pastor Phil about something you don’t understand.

Below is the year plan in html format.

Read Through the Bible in One Year

Each week’s reading has roughly the same number of verses. Make time in your week to read the weekly reading. Use a bookmark to keep your place where you left off. The purpose of reading the Bible this year isn’t to “study” each verse but to get an “overview”. Read like you would a novel, don’t get hung-up on a verse, put a question mark beside a verse you want to go back to and continue reading. When you finish a week check the “completed” box.  By December 31st you will have read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
